In 2025, Ukraine plans to implement basic social assistance and adopt legislation for a cumulative pension system, reported Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"This year, the government intends to launch reforms in the new social policy. In March, pensions will be indexed to support our pensioners. We also plan to adopt legislation for a cumulative pension system to initiate it next year," Shmyhal stated during a government meeting on Friday.
Moreover, according to the Prime Minister, a project for basic social assistance will be implemented.
"Instead of a multitude of different payments for families facing difficult life circumstances, we will introduce one significant payment," he explained.
