Thus, the politician reacted to the video by volunteer Sergey Prytula, in which he discusses the authorities' ban on conducting a volunteer event in Chernihiv.
"When the tragedy at the drama theater occurred, no one considered safety measures; the regional military administration allowed an exhibition of combat drones and co-organized it. A year and a half has passed – no one has been held accountable. However, taking advantage of the consequences of their own criminal inaction, the military administrations prohibited the event for the volunteers. This is proof that no one is thinking about safety; the goal is purely political. The 'Servants' are preparing for elections, while the servants of the 'Servants' are banning the gathering of volunteers because they see them as competitors," stated Lomako.
He appealed to the State Bureau of Investigations (DBR) urging them to examine the conditions and reasons behind the refusal of the head of the city military administration to hold the volunteer event in Chernihiv.
"I want to remind the current authorities. The country is fighting alongside the volunteers. Not against the volunteers, but together with them against the enemy. It seems someone has gotten confused. Let me let you in on a secret: our people would rather withdraw their support from such authorities than from the volunteers, who, at the end of the third year of a major war, continue to meet many needs of our defenders. And the war against the volunteers will end badly for the authorities," emphasized Lomako.
Previously, Prytula publicized a video in which he stated that the authorities in Chernihiv had prohibited him from meeting with local volunteers to report on the work of the foundation. In 20 other regions, such meetings were not banned.
