С 1 января все легковые автомобили, ввозимые и производимые в Украине, должны соответствовать экологическим стандартам Евро 6.

Customs clearance for the free circulation and the initial state registration of new passenger vehicles in Ukraine (both imported and domestically produced) will be carried out from January 1, 2025, provided they meet environmental standards of at least Euro 6.

This is stipulated by the law of Ukraine concerning the compliance requirements for vehicles with environmental norms, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on December 17, 2024, and signed by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, on December 30.

Exceptions are made for new passenger cars imported or produced in Ukraine before December 31, 2024.

At the same time, as reported, the law has postponed the introduction of Euro-6 environmental standards for vehicles (new and used) under the codes of UKTVED 8701 20 (tractors), 8702 (buses), 8704 (trucks), and 8705 (special vehicles) until January 1, 2027.
