According to one of the media sources within the government, the dismissal is expected to take place soon.
It is noted that Zelensky has specific concerns regarding the performance of Mashovets, who oversaw military affairs in the Office of the President.
"First and foremost, the president requires timely and accurate information from the frontlines, as well as insights into the needs of the military, which is why they chose [Pavlo] Palisa," the source informed.
As sources told Radio NV, it was initially planned for Mashovets to oversee international affairs, while the newly appointed deputy Ermak, Palisa, would handle military matters, but this arrangement will not be implemented.
"Palisa duplicates the functions of Mashovets, and it was clear from the beginning when Ermak invited him to the Office of the President that Roman would leave the office, especially since he maintains contact with [the head of GUR MO] Kyrylo Budanov, which has also been a trigger for a long time," the media source emphasized.
Mashovets himself may transition to work in GUR.
