Zelensky commented on Musk's support for groups that hold critical views towards Ukraine.

During a meeting on January 8 with Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed journalists' questions regarding his concerns about statements made by American billionaire Elon Musk. These statements suggest Musk's support for political forces in Europe that are critical of Ukraine, particularly in relation to its financial assistance. This information was reported by the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
Зеленский высказался о поддержке Маска групп, которые негативно относятся к Украине.

"We truly have substantial financial support, we are talking about tens of billions of euros to support both our budget and our army. I apologize for focusing on other concerns that, unfortunately, are currently being raised in the Ukrainian sky, and therefore we are concentrating on strengthening our air defense. Our approach is based not on emotions, but on contracts due to our strong agreements with countries around the world," said Zelensky.

He reminded that Ukraine has already signed 27 bilateral security agreements with partner countries, and for 2025, there are already "specific amounts allocated for each percentage."

"I rely on trust and agreements with these countries," emphasized Zelensky.

On December 30, 2024, an article by Musk was published in the German newspaper Welt in which he stated that only the far-right party "Alternative for Germany" (AfD) can reform the country. Thus, as noted by ZDF, the businessman was campaigning for a party that advocates for Germany's exit from the European Union, does not condemn Russian aggression and proposes lifting sanctions on the Russian Federation.
