Zelensky stated that today the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine showed journalists the debris of the Russian missile that struck Dnipro.
"Currently, examinations are ongoing, and we are collaborating with partners to establish all the details and characteristics of this missile. Our goal is to jointly find a response to this Russian escalation step. The world has air defense systems capable of protecting against such attacks. We need to focus on this – everyone. Russia must feel that every step it takes to escalate the war will have consequences for them. Consequences in our actions on the front lines, our warriors, our units. Additionally, there will be consequences in the actions of the world. In how the world responds," he continued.
The President of Ukraine urged not to give the illegitimate president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, "a single week to adapt and find countermeasures."
"We must constantly do everything possible to compel Russia to seek the opportunity for peace. Real peace. And this is achieved only through two means – support for Ukraine and pressure on Russia. Thank you to everyone in the world who is doing just that, who stands with us, with Ukraine, and with Ukrainians!" he added.
