"We have a defense minister who clearly understands that if, God forbid, there are any pauses in support for our army – from drones to air defense – there will not only be losses among the military, but also civilian casualties, children will suffer, and there will be more strikes. Russia will become stronger. He cannot afford any pauses in deliveries," Zelensky stated.
According to him, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov "has the right to do everything" to ensure there are no interruptions in supplies, especially if "there are institutional issues with signing contracts" or "signals of reduced support for the Armed Forces," as "there cannot be pauses in urgent decisions."
Zelensky emphasized that "today all the money is in the Ministry of Defense."
"All our money is with our army. And if there is funding, but some delivery has not arrived, then, to be honest, he [Umerov] must do everything to prevent such issues from arising again. Because this is our life, and it is the most important thing. And he is fulfilling this," the president concluded.
