"The head of state reported that today Russia has used over 90 missiles and nearly 100 drones against Ukraine's civilian infrastructure. The President expressed gratitude for the support from the United Kingdom, including the commitment to allocate at least £3 billion annually for Ukraine's needs," the statement said.
The Office of the President noted that Zelensky and Starmer discussed further defense cooperation and agreed to "maintain close contact with European leaders regarding steps that should ensure Ukraine the strongest possible position in light of any developments."
Zelensky believes that "for this, Ukraine needs an invitation to NATO and an increase in long-range capabilities."
"Additionally, the leaders agreed to expedite the preparation of a 100-year partnership agreement between Ukraine and the United Kingdom," the president's press service reported.
In October, Zelensky was in London and met with Starmer.
