In Kryvyi Rih, where Russians struck a residential building with a missile, the number of injured has risen to 11, including a 16-year-old girl. There is one fatality. This was reported by Alexander Vilkul, the chairman of the city defense council, during a telethon.
According to him, the debris is being cleared by hand because there are survivors trapped beneath the rubble. Rescue teams are working carefully to assist everyone.
"Unfortunately, the invaders hit a four-story building with 32 apartments on a festive evening with a ballistic missile," Vilkul noted. He mentioned that four individuals were rescued from the rubble. Additionally, seven others are injured—one woman is in serious condition, while the others are moderately injured. One person has died.
Vilkul emphasized that a moment of silence is observed at the site of the rescue operations to listen for people who are still likely trapped under the debris. It is known that there were shoppers in the store on the first floor and residents in the apartments.
"Voices can be heard; even one woman picked up the phone and we spoke with her. Therefore, the clearing of debris is being done solely by hand," he stressed. He added that only large structures, specifically beams, are being moved with a crane. "There is great hope that we can save living people from under the rubble," said the chairman of the city defense council.
He reported that there have been more than 10 missile attacks in the city over the past two months, often targeting residential buildings.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported at 17:37 that three injured individuals in Kryvyi Rih are in serious condition. "As of now, 11 injured have been reported, including a 16-year-old girl," he wrote. It is noted that seven people have been hospitalized.
