The Kharkiv City Council, during an extraordinary session on Tuesday, extended the benefits for local taxes for individuals, legal entities, and entrepreneurs until the first quarter of 2025.
"We are prolonging the benefits on local taxes and fees to ensure that entrepreneurs remain in Kharkiv, despite the challenging conditions. They need working capital to attract resources and pay their employees," quotes the city council press service, referring to Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
It is important to note that as of April 1, 2024, the tax obligation for the lease payments of municipal land plots has been abolished. The land tax rate for plots owned by individuals and legal entities is set at 0% of their normative monetary valuation.
Additionally, the property tax rate (unless it pertains to land owned by legal entities) has also been established at 0%. Furthermore, taxpayers in the fourth group of the single tax system have been granted a 100% reduction in their tax obligations.
