During a night drone attack in the Kyiv region, journalist Tatiana Kulyk from the "Ukrinform" agency and her husband, Professor Pavel Ivanchiv, head of the Department of Surgery No. 3 at the A.A. Bogomolets National Medical University, lost their lives.
"A Russian drone struck her house in the Bucha district, resulting in a fire," the Ukrinform agency reported via Telegram.
It is noted that Tatiana Kulyk was the author and host of the "Nation of the Unconquered" project, and served as acting editor-in-chief of the Multimedia Editorial Board. "She was an experienced journalist, also holding positions as a presenter at the 'Central Channel' (CGTRK), the World Service of Ukrainian Broadcasting, and was a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine," the statement mentioned.
Colleagues expressed their condolences to the family and noted that her untimely death shocked her colleagues and represented a tremendous loss for the agency.
On the Facebook page of the A.A. Bogomolets National Medical University, it was highlighted that the enemy drone hit the house of the head of the Department of Surgery No. 3, Professor Pavel Ivanchiv.
"According to information from neighbors, it is likely that at the time of the strike, Pavel Ivanchiv was at home with his wife Tatiana," the message stated. It was reported that firefighters extinguished the fire, and operational investigative actions are ongoing at the scene.

Russian occupiers attacked the Kyiv region with drones on the night of February 26. As reported by UNIAN, two people died as a result of the enemy attack. It was noted that private residential houses in the Bucha district were damaged, one of which was completely destroyed, along with apartments in high-rise buildings, garages, and vehicles.
The acting head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Nikolai Kalashnik, reported that in another settlement in this district, a girl born in 2005 with a head injury was hospitalized in a local hospital, while a man born in 1981 suffered an injury to his right hand.
