The Security Service has gathered evidence confirming the anti-Ukrainian activities of a former host of the "Наш" and NewsOne TV channels, which were owned by Viktor Medvedchuk and Yevhen Murayev.
According to reports from Ukrainian media, the individual in question is radio and TV host Max Nazarov (real name - Nazar Ruslanovych Diordytsia).
"Based on the case materials, after the onset of full-scale war, the subject created his own channel on the YouTube video hosting platform, where he continued to disseminate Kremlin narratives," stated the Security Service.
The SBU reports that the former host invited pro-Russian "political experts" to his broadcasts, many of whom are currently hiding in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Both the studio guests and the host himself repeatedly attempted to justify the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, as well as the military crimes committed by Russians. Among the guests was another pro-Kremlin blogger, who has already received suspicion from investigators of the Security Service in 2024.
During a forensic linguistic examination, facts of criminal activities by both bloggers were confirmed.
The SBU has now informed them of suspicion under parts 2 and 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (justification, recognition of legitimacy, denial of armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
The question of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention for the subjects is currently being resolved. They face up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
According to open sources, in 2015, Nazarov began working as a host for a morning show on the NewsOne channel. In April 2018, he moved to the "Наш" channel. It is worth noting that earlier readers of the "Focus" website included Nazarov in the TOP-50 Ukrainian bloggers.
Ukrainian Bloggers - What’s Interesting
Recall that in 2024, the "Focus" publication compiled a ranking of Ukrainian bloggers for the previous year. The list included 200 influencers. It turned out that among the well-known figures were, in particular, fugitives and traitors of Ukraine.
Recently, Ukrainian Forbes named the best blogger in our country. She is Candy Superstar, who previously set a national record.
As reported, the influencer created a real business "empire," which brought her companies 23 million hryvnias in revenue last year.
