All the property of Alexey Poroshenko, the son of Peter Poroshenko, has been seized due to his failure to pay a fine of 25,500 UAH, which was issued for repeatedly ignoring summonses from the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCRSS). The relevant decree was published by political expert Valentin Gladkiy.

"The son of a family friend, or rather the privileged son of a wealthy empire, Alexey Poroshenko, wanted so much to defend the country that he fled from the war all the way to Britain, where he remains in hiding to this day. All this time, while the 'warrior' Poroshenko was sitting in the trenches of a London kettle, he received summonses to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Of course, he ignored them. For this, on January 8, Alexey was fined 25,500 UAH by the Pechersk District TCRSS in Kyiv. The decree clearly stated that if he did not pay within 15 days, the fine would double. And that is exactly what happened. Because the 'fugitive' billionaire ignored the legal requirements. So, on January 28, 2025, the state enforcement service of the Pechersk district of the capital decided to forcibly collect from Alexey Petrovich Poroshenko an administrative fine of 51,000 UAH in favor of the state. Until he pays, all of the debtor's property will be seized," writes Gladkiy, providing the relevant decree.

Taking into account the enforcement fee and other expenses, the total amount of the fine exceeded 56,000 UAH.

"The precedent itself is important - the state is forcing one of the richest people in the country (specifically, the younger Poroshenko is recorded as having a fortune of nearly 1.2 billion dollars) to comply with the law. And punishes for evasion from military service while the entire country defends itself from the enemy. Therefore, the consequences for the evader will worsen over time," the expert notes.

Gladkiy emphasizes that despite his father's statements, Alexey Poroshenko has been avoiding military service for a long time.

"In 2015, Petro Alekseyevich claimed that his elder son fought near Ilovaisk. At that time, journalists and military personnel called it a lie. So, in fact, Alexey has been hiding from the Armed Forces of Ukraine for over 10 years. He turned out to be quite the 'warrior.' As they say: in London, the emigrant enjoys his father's treats, but in Ukraine, he is an evader. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.... Or as they say in such cases?" concludes Gladkiy.

As is known, a national petition is currently underway, gathering signatures from citizens demanding sanctions against Peter Poroshenko as a politician and figure suspected of treason, trading with the Russian Federation during the war, and being a co-founder of the Party of Regions. Nearly 10,000 signatures have been collected in just a few days out of the necessary 25,000. The signature collection is taking place on the petition website.
