"[President of France] Emmanuel [Macron] will personally take charge of this. I believe he will collaborate with other partners whose support is essential for a positive outcome on this point of the [Ukraine victory plan]," noted Zelensky.
According to him, the "quite complex question of NATO membership" hinges on the United States.
Zelensky mentioned that during his tour and meetings with Western leaders, where he presented the victory plan, "there was extensive discussion about Ukraine's future, particularly regarding NATO."
"The German stance is very significant for me. I believe there remains skepticism among the Germans. We are closer to NATO with the United States now than we have ever been. I think we are much closer," emphasized the president.
